### Bitboy just announced on twitter that he will be hosting a twitter spaces with Sam Bankman-Fried.

Controversial crypto YouTuber Ben Armstrong, known as Bitboy, has been fed up with waiting for authorities to take action on Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) the founder of the collapsed FTX crypto empire. 

SBF's other flagship crypto company is Alameda Research. He also has over 130 other affiliated companies that were included in the filing for bankruptcy protection. 

Ben Armstrong flew to the Bahamas over the weekend on a mission to find SBF and get some answers. What was the result of the trip? Just a few hours ago Ben Armstrong (Bitboy_Crypto) tweeted that SBF agreed to do a Twitter Space within the next two weeks!

This announcement is a significant development out of Ben Armstrong's sudden trip to the Bahamas to himself look for SBF. Throughout his trip, Ben was tweeting about it and the crypto community had mixed reactions, from surprise to facepalming. 

What is certain is that the community was quite engaged and eager to see what, if anything might be accomplished by Ben, whether they agree with him or not. 

There were a handful of memes describing Bitboy as a hero,

There were also some pretty strong objections to calling Bitboy a hero:

Ben Armstrong gained a lot of respect in the crypto community because he was early in calling out SBF's shady lobbying activities weeks before the public became aware of SBF's crypto empire's financial troubles. 

Even though Ben Armstrong was early in calling out FTX, he was himself also fooled. About a year ago, Bitboy posted a video singing praises for FTX's token called FTT. 

Ben Armstrong told his over 1M subscribers that everything Sam Bankman Fried touches is gold. Since that time, Ben Armstrong has a completely opposite view of SBF, calling him 'the devil' and labeling SBF actions with strong words like 'fraud' and 'scam'. 

Ben Armstrong's series of tweets on his trip to the Bahamas was like a reality tv show, complete with a selfie as he arrived.

He also shared a photo taken outside SBF's residence.

The comments and other tweets show that Ben Armstrong is loved and hated. That said, the trip seems to have been productive with Ben Armstrong claiming that 'it's a new day for investigative journalism'.

We are not sure about calling his trip 'investigative journalism' though. And we consider the trip "productive" for a different reason, mostly because it was entertaining. We have strong doubts on whether anything will come out of an interview or 'spaces' with SBF. 

We recall that SBF has lied many times on social media, has not kept his promises to his customers and seems to be a bit detached from reality. Thus, while Ben Armstrong impressed the community with a promise from SBF, we will reserve our excitement for when (or if) the Twitter Spaces actually pushes through. 

We concede though that his trip was probably the most entertaining crypto issue over the weekend, and the twitter spaces, whether productive or not, will definitely be very engaging.
