General counsel for FTX had previously clarified in a tweet that the money was moved to “mitigate damage, upon observing unauthorized [transactions](https://www.cryptoflash.report/articles/ftx-moves-it-moves-it).”


General counsel for FTX Ryne Miller tweeted a statement from John Ray, Chief Restructuring Officer and Ceo of FTX, as shown in the screenshots below:

John Ray confirmed tha the unauthorized access to “certain assets” has occured. The statement further stated that “We have been in contact with, and are coordinating with law enforcement and relevant regulators.”
