### The last time Sam Bankman-Fried (founder of FTX) said things are fine’, we quickly found out that things weren’t. The crypto market crashed a few days later.

Sam Bankman-Fried (known as SBF) tweeted on November 7, 2022 that FTX was fine.  The tweet has since then been deleted:

In the following days, the entire crypto market cap fell 36%, from around USD1 Trillion to around USD750 Billion.

On November 10, 2022, SBF broke his silence with a tweet series.  You can see the tweet series below.  But, before it we want to call you attention to this part of the tweet series.  “FTX US USERS ARE FINE”:

He seems to have lost his grip on reality.  For those who don’t know, FTX US and FTX . COM are separate entities.  However, FTX . COM is the parent company of FTX US.  We worry that FTX . COM has really awful issues because Binance pulled out of the purchase after only a few days of due diligence.  SBF has also reportedly been seeking equity investment of [USD8B](https://cointelegraph.com/news/sbf-tells-investors-ftx-needs-8b-in-emergency-funding-wsj), with another report stating he is trying to raise [USD9B](https://www.reuters.com/technology/exclusive-bankman-fried-seeks-94-bln-package-ftx-rescue-sources-2022-11-10/).  


We would not consider FTX US users as fine.  Even if  (and we think it’s a big if) their ship (FTX . US)  may not be taking on water, the fleet is sinking (FTX . COM; Alameda Research and other projects).  

Users would be fine if FTX US was sold to a stable parent company.  In hindsight, what an insult to CZ for SBF to offer FTX . COM and not  FTX . US.  SBF only offered the parts of his empire that he knew were in trouble? But even so, we don’t think we can believe anything SBF is saying - specially when he uses the word “fine”.

It’s hard to believe what he’s saying. Maybe he is really sorry but, he just admitted to not knowing the true state of the situation in his own company. It’s either he’s lying about that or he is somewhat incompetent.  How can we know if FTX US is really 100% liquid or that FTX International really has more assets than its liabilities.  We’re keeping our eyes peeled on what actually happens.  If there’s FTX International and/or Alameda Research files for bankruptcy, we could see another cryptomarket crash.  

Be ready for yet another crash. . .
