You could do more on Ethereum but as of the time of this writing Bitcoin is still the king of cryptocurrencies.

#### Ethereum is Now Proof of Stake
As of September 2022, Ethereum has officially transitioned to a proof-of-stake consensus algorithm. This means that instead of miners competing to find new blocks and earn rewards, Ethereum users can now stake their ETH to validate transactions and earn rewards. This change was made in an effort to improve Ethereum's scalability and make it more environmentally friendly.

There are many benefits of proof-of-stake over proof-of-work. For one, it is much more energy efficient since there is no need for expensive mining hardware or large amounts of electricity. Secondly, it is also much faster and can handle more transactions per second than proof-of-work.

Ethereum's switch to proof-of-stake is a major milestone in the cryptocurrency space and will likely have a positive impact on its price in the long run. With improved scalability and increased adoption, Ethereum could very well become the leading cryptocurrency platform.

#### Bitcoin is Limited in Supply
Bitcoin is limited in supply to 21 million tokens, while Ethereum has no hard limit on the number of ETH tokens that can be created. It's the scarcity, security and decentralization of Bitcoin that makes it massively better than Ethereum. Bitcoin may do less than Ethereum but it is really good on what it was designed to be. 

#### Ethereum has unlimited supply but is now deflationary
Ethereum has an unlimited supply but is now deflationary, because there are more ETH that is being burned than minted. This give a run against Bitcoin's fix supply. While Ethereum is still a relatively newer than Bitcoin if has already survived multiple crashes and has still maintained it market dominance. 

#### Bitcoin is more decentralized because it is on proof of work
Bitcoin is more decentralized because it is on proof of work. It has a massive number of miners validating the network so that no one user or group has control; rather, control is maintained by all users collectively. Since decentralized blockchains are immutable, the data entered into them cannot be changed.

#### Ethereum Servers can be requested to censor certain wallets
Ethereum servers can be requested to censor certain wallets in order to comply with government regulations. This could potentially lead to less censorship-resistant applications being developed on Ethereum, which would be a major disadvantage compared to Bitcoin.
