Coindesk [reports](https://www.coindesk.com/business/2023/11/06/celsius-winner-proof-group-is-in-running-to-relaunch-ftx-sources-say/) that the Proof Group is one of three bidders that could potentially relaunch the crypto exchange FTX. The proof is part of Fahrenheit, a group of crypto investors, which includes hedge fund Arrington Capital. 

In May, Fahrenheit launched a winning bid to acquire bankrupt crypto lender Celsius. 

An [article](https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-11-06/celsius-co-owners-proof-group-behind-potential-bid-to-relaunch-crypto-s-ftx) on Bloomberg says that Proof Group has approached other investors to join the bid for FTX. 

According to court documents, FTX is considering multiple proposals to resolve its bankruptcy. 

In October, Kevin Cofsky of Perella Weinberg Partners, the firm tasked to oversee FTX’s bankruptcy, told Judge John Dorsey of the U.S. Bankruptcy of the District of Delaware “We have been engaging in an outreach process with a number of interested parties to either acquire the legacy exchange assets and/or partner with the debtors in connection with a launch of the exchange."

During the hearing, Cofsky also said that a stalking horse, or the initial bid of assets of a bankrupt company, will likely be announced on Dec. 16.

Proof Group won the bid for bankrupt crypto lender Celsius.
