Amazon Web Services AWS, is looking to increase its clients in the Web3 sector, according to a LinkedIn posting.


A Senior GTM Specialist is needed for the Web3 Go-To-Market (GTM) team, which is in charge of boosting Web3 workload adoption on AWS.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a cloud computing platform offered by Amazon.com and provides a suite of on-demand, pay-as-you-go computing resources and services, including storage, computing power, databases, and analytics. With AWS, customers can develop, deploy, and run applications and services without the need for investing in expensive infrastructure or managing complex IT systems. 



AWS operates data centers in multiple regions across the world, allowing customers to run their applications and services in locations that are closest to their customers for low latency and high performance. AWS is widely used by businesses of all sizes, from startups to large enterprises, as well as by government agencies and non-profit organizations.



Amazon, however, just announced the layoff of more than 18,000 jobs across its diverse divisions, including cloud computing, robotics, grocery stores, and physical retail technology.



In the end, Amazon's decision to reduce staff in certain areas while increasing it in other divisions is a result of the company's constant efforts to stay aggressive and competitive in the quickly evolving technology sector.



The cloud computing market continues to grow rapidly and demand for AWS services is high, which requires the company to hire additional personnel to support this growth. It is possible the skills and expertise required for Web3 cloud computing roles may differ from those affected by the layoffs, so the company may be hiring new employees to fill specific skills gaps.
