### In a CNBC interview, CZ was asked why he hasn't disclosed Binance's liabilities. His answer was simple. Binance doesn't have liabilities. 

The amount of FUD around crypto has been snowballing. 

There have been rumors about trouble within the DCG group (Genesis, Grayscale). But, the most concentrationof FUD has been around Binance. There are fears that Binance is vulnerable to collapsing just like FTX. 

In the wake of the FTX collapse, Binance was quick to inform the public of how much reserves they have, and immediately suggested methods for maintaining transparency to keep the public informed of the solvency of crypto exchanges in general. 

Many other exchanges like Kucoin and Crypto.com agreed and are working on improving transparency. The collapse of FTX is still being investigated but there is already evidence to confirm that FTX had invested customer funds, and were unable to return funds in the middle of a mass withdrawal early in November 2022. 

The method of FTX is common practice among commercial banks - the banks take customer deposits and lend the money out and/or invest the money. This is known as fractional reserves, and is again, generally acceptable for commercial banks. The difference with commercial banks is that they are allowed to borrow from their Central Bank when there are large withdrawals. 

FTX is not a bank and did not have a similar recourse within the crypto industry. There are fears that Binance may have the same vulnerability to mass withdrawals. 

In a CNBC interview CZ stated in no uncertain terms that Binance customers can withdraw all their funds at any time. CZ also stated unequivocally that Binance doesn't have any liabilities.

CZ states that Binance has no liabilities at around 4:47 of the video. 

CZ stated: "Very simply, Binance does not owe people money. Binance does not have loans." "We do not have VC investments." "We are a very simple and self contained type of organization."
