### In a report from Cointelegraph, Cathie Wood, founder, and CEO of ARK Investment Management, stated that cryptocurrencies has served as a safe haven throughout the current crisis, despite regulators' attempts to use it as a scapegoat in the wake of the SVB and Signature bank runs.

Wood criticized the Federal Reserve for its inability to prevent bank runs, despite all of the warning indicators being present. She went on to state that the continuing banking crisis is the result of a wholly unsuccessful Fed policy that could have been avoided with the help of decentralized crypto solutions.



Wood has long been a proponent of cryptocurrency as a remedy for the fundamental problems of the financial system. She believes that the current financial system is plagued by opacity, failures in regulation, and central points of failure. Wood envisions cryptocurrencies as a solution to these issues, allowing for a more transparent, decentralized, and secure financial system.



Cryptocurrency is proving to be a potential safe haven during times of economic uncertainty. Bitcoin, in particular, saw a surge in value during the pandemic, breaking all-time highs and attracting interest from institutional investors. Currently, amid the US banking crisis, cryptocurrency prices rose sharply, with Bitcoin and Ethereum reaching new multi-month highs.



Cathie Wood has made some excellent points on the importance of expanding cryptocurrency use and establishing clear rules for dealing with digital currencies in order to make its benefits available to more people.
