### Coinbase announced on Twitter that it will be suspending trading for Binance USD (BUSD) stablecoin on March 13th, 2023. The reason given was due to Coinbase's "listing standards," but there was no further explanation provided.

This move has caused speculation amongst the crypto community, with some suggesting that Coinbase may be trying to push its own stablecoin, USDC, as a competitor to BUSD and other stablecoin issuers. Coinbase is one of the two companies behind USDC, and this move may be seen as a way to help their own stablecoin gain market share.

Although it is understandable that Coinbase would want to promote its own product, the manner in which they are doing so is raising some members of the cryptocurrency community's eyebrows and prompting them to be concerned. Coinbase is being aggressive about the situation, which is contributing to increased fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD) towards Binance.



This is due to the announcement that came weeks after Paxos disclosed regulatory trouble that centered around the Binance-branded stablecoin. However, it is important to note that BUSD is a reputable stablecoin with a strong track record and is backed by the US dollar and has been audited by third-party firms to ensure transparency and security.
