### Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson recently provided an update on the development of the non-fungible token (NFT) aspect of the Cardano network, highlighting its current status as the "most vibrant part" of the platform.

During a podcast with Input Output Global (IOG) President Tamara Haasen, broadcasted on March 6th, Hoskinson shared that NFTs are the fastest moving in which 8 million assets have been issued. According to him, he thinks more than half the projects are in some way NFT-related, and it is exciting to see that level of durability, resilience, passion, and excitement.

Hoskinson went on to share some of the developments coming to the NFT portion of the Cardano ecosystem. He mentioned the introduction of Marlowe, a user-friendly and easily-learned domain specific language for creating and executing financial contracts. Binding intellectual property and NFTs was something Hoskinson held "near and dear," so he and his team at Cardano were investigating Marlowe for NFTs "to see if we can make it a turnkey low-code, no-code solution to issue NFTs or at least program out the logic of how NFTs work," he said.



The Cardano founder also praised the level of passion and excitement surrounding NFTs in the Cardano ecosystem, noting that the space is durable and resilient. NFTs, according to Hoskinson, are an essential aspect of Cardano's vibrant and growing ecosystem, playing a key role in the platform's development.



The growth of NFTs on the Cardano network has been exponential, with a majority of the projects somehow related to NFTs. The increasing adoption of NFTs on Cardano is attributed to its high speed, low transaction costs, and eco-friendly features.



Charles Hoskinson's recent update on the growth and developments of NFTs on the Cardano network highlights their critical role in the platform's development. With the introduction of Marlowe and other updates, NFTs are poised to continue their exponential growth and play an even more significant role in Cardano's ecosystem.
