### Revolut, the digital banking app, is making its first foray into the Latin American market. The company has entered Brazil in an effort to take advantage of the increasing demand for cryptocurrency assets. Nik Storonsky, co-founder, and CEO of Revolut, has called Brazil an "exciting market" and says that it holds enormous potential for the company's global expansion.

Revolut's initial offerings in Brazil will include the global account and crypto investments, but Storonsky has hinted that this is just the beginning. Revolut's mission is to enable people to manage their money effectively in a borderless economy by providing simple and convenient financial products.



Glauber Mota, Revolut's CEO for Brazil, notes that there is a lot of appetite for digital banking services in Brazil, with over 45% of Brazilians already using digital accounts as their primary account and using more than five different applications to manage payments, transfers, and investments.



Revolut's arrival in Brazil comes as the country's outbound spending has more than doubled, reaching $12 billion in 2022. With over ten million individual investors in the country, the demand for access to crypto assets has increased. Revolut's app provides Brazilians with a single solution that fulfills all financial needs with a level of user experience that has never been seen in the Brazilian market.
